Delivering Practicum

Ashley Richardson, BEC’s trainee teacher, delivering her practicum lesson to 7 foreign speakers of English this afternoon.
Ashley’s Aim: This lesson is a vocabulary lesson aimed to solidify simple adjectives and how to use them to describe common objects.

Teaching Development Session

During the course, you will build a lesson plan and teaching materials for the practicum and you will gain confidence by delivering it to genuine foreign speakers of English.

Teaching Practicum Workshop

There are teaching practice workshops with analysis of delivered trial lessons. We also provide the opportunity for you to teach real foreign speakers of English in teaching practice sessions during the Diploma course. These foreign speakers of English are adults who have come from countries including China, Korea, Japan and Myanmar.
