… glad I chose to embark on it with British Education Centre

The TESOL diploma is available at a few private institutions in Singapore, however I am glad I chose to embark on it with British Education Centre. The lessons, although packed with information, are made engaging by the well-experienced trainers. Kudos to Kennedy for always managing to keep us productively occupied with hands-on activities during lessons. Similar to any tertiary course, be prepared to do some mini assignments before attending the lessons at times, which may seem daunting at first but were in fact effective in ensuring the delivery of the lessons went nothing but smooth. Truly appreciate Yu Chin for her approachable nature and the numerous instances where she has extended a helping hand in administrative matters and otherwise. I definitely recommend BEC to anyone interested in taking up their Diploma in TESOL!

I had an amazing and very productive summer holiday when I came across BEC website and enrolled in their TESOL programme! 🤩

Alvina and Ken are very knowledgeable and competent teachers. They would provide their adult students with practical tips whilst they teach the concepts that they need to master, and ensure that fun and humour are always part of learning! 💖🌟

External assessors, Joan and Winny are equally brilliant teachers who would give you positive and helpful feedback on how to further improve your plans and activities for the practicum.

I am thankful as well for the 'Fantastic Five' --- Razi, Lynette, Zhong Han, Ezekiel and Jinchou for their cheerfulness and dynamism when they come in to help out in the admin job.

Last, but definitely not the least, I'm truly grateful for Ms Yu Chin who helped me massively! 💖 From helping me out work on my schedule (as I could only attend during our school breaks) to giving students all the advice and support that they could ever need (i.e. anything about BEC programme, tips on how to get impressive grades, where to get good lunch, transport system, etc.) Ms Yu Chin is like the 'BEC fairy' who brings in surprise and yummy snacks, too! 😍

At BEC, I did not only get to hone and sharpen my skills, but I also get to meet lots of lovely people and new friends 💖

… Taking the TESOL course at BEC was definitely a decision I didn’t regret making

Taking the TESOL course at BEC was definitely a decision I didn't regret making. I've learned a lot from the Alvina and Kennedy! It was money well spent. Being a native speaker of the English language doesn't mean one can actually teach English. I think every teacher, government or private should experience this. It'll help them enrich their lessons and make them fun!

I look forward to my lessons everyday and I had great classmates! The trainers are walking testimonies as to how we can teach our potential students. Shoutout to Yu Chin as well! She's very friendly and hardworking in making sure all my questions were answered and ensuring the process is smooth. The takeaway I have from this course is to love what you do, and it'll show in your work, and students are only ready to learn when they're emotionally engaged.

I highly recommend BEC to take your TESOL course but at the same time, it isn't for everyone. Know what you want to gain from taking this course. Don't expect to enroll and get away easy because work is definitely needed on your end. Nevertheless, you'll come out satisfied when you complete the course! :)

Teachers are experienced and make the course really engaging and fun. I always looked forward to going for lessons and I've truly learned so much! You can use SkillsFuture credit as well. Totally recommend if you want to take your TESOL course in Singapore
